The Story

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 12 years old. I enjoyed our time together, but the knitting didn't take. Many, many years later, I rediscovered my first "project bag". It was a long thin cloth bag with a Velcro closure, just big enough for a small ball of yarn and one set of needles. My grandmother had made it for me all those years before and it still contained the scratchy, baby blue acrylic yarn and six inches of garter stitch that I'd completed at the time.
Curious, I picked up the needles and never looked back! Wouldn't it be a tidy story if it all just took off from there? That would be too easy. After many stops and starts, a lot of "how to" searches on Google and a lifestyle change or two later, it all did take off. I now knit and crochet daily for fun, to relax and to stretch my creative muscles.
I also love to share my products. I create stuffies, blankets, hats, coasters, key chains, scarves, socks, tops or just about anything else that one can make with some yarn and needles or a hook.
